This gentle yoga class helps us to enjoy improved physical health and a sense of happiness in daily life. The purpose of Mindful Yoga is to create a community of yogis who support each other along the mindfulness path of meditation in motion.

Each class begins with a short relaxation focusing on body and breath awareness. Gentle stretching and postures follow. We practice focusing the mind on the body and breath throughout this 75 minute class.
Class ends with a 15-20 minute relaxation (shavasana) followed by a short breath meditation. Mindful Yoga is suitable for beginners (both floor and chair yogis) through advanced practitioners.
This class meets in person at TCMC, 1147 N Howard Blvd, Tucson. We enter through the back door, remove shoes, and meet in the yoga studio in the front of the building. We have plenty of mats, chairs, and props. Feel free to bring your own mat and blanket and any personal props you may need. Refrain from wearing scented products (natural or unnatural) as some people are allergic.

Lorelei and TCMC are supported by your generous donations. TCMC has a building mortgage, utilities and insurance expenses, and Lorelei has living expenses. Suggested donation is $7 - $15 per class. You can make an in-person donation using Venmo, Zelle, check, or cash, or you may Donate Here. Donations are optional and no one will be turned away due to inability to pay.

Lorelei Patrick - began practicing yoga and meditation in 1976, and has been teaching since 1986. She completed the 200 hour yoga certification offered by the Himalayan Institute in 2007 along with a certification in foot reflexology and Aromatouch. She currently practices meditation with the Tucson Community Meditation Center. She enjoys hiking, strength training, cooking naturally yummy foods, and walking.
